You can find information about sports for your dog and more!

These are examples of Agility. Other sports include Tracking, Obedience, Hunting, Rally, Freestyle, Flyball. All of these can be done with different breeds of dogs. Some canine are better suited than others for certain events, as their breeding plays a roll in how they perform. Breeders "design" different breeds over our history to help us survive. Some were bred to help us hunt. Dogs hunted to put food on the table or hunted predators to protect us. Some, to guard and protect. Others were bred to keep control over herds, or rodents. All though some breeds are no longer used for what they were bred for, some still are. Keeping the history of all the breeds is also a way of honoring all the help different breeds have given to mankind throughout time. Life would be different without them

You can still compete in A.K.C. performance events even if you don't have papers to register your dog. You need to to get an ILP to do so. Often, even if your dog isn't completely one breed, you might still be able to get an ILP. Humans work side by side with canines, we can also play with them

If you come across a new product that you think others in the agility community would enjoy, please let us know and we'll investigate it. We're always looking for new ideas, we enjoy reinventing the wheel!!.
